Christmas came!

So christmas came this year!

We woke up christmas day and we all opened our gifts. Here's roll call.

For christmas Billy recived from his wonderful wife:
a two year supcription to the AP mag, a ticket album filled with concerts and stuff we've been to the past 3 years, a signed tour card for coheed and cambria, UT vols cups, and fake tattoo sleeves (the joke gift)

As for me i got a post secrests book from Billy, boots, a dress, and another outfit i don't have pictures of. I got hotrollers from Billy's mom, and a jewelry box from my family!

And that leaves Dax....Dax had a blast he would tear the paper and then try to eat it but he got a lot of fun toys and a new outfit (that not by choice had to be worn) he took a really really late nap but slept so good that night. Dax got from us a new moive, a toy and and top. He got toys from both grand parents and a piano from his cousin.

Christmas at Opryland

So this last Saturday we met up with Heather, Chase, and Gavin to look at the christmas lights at Opryland (since i don't get to see the temple lights any more this is just as good.) We walked around, took pictures and when we found a nice spot we exchanged gifts. Heather got me flameless candles!! So cool....and Gavin picked out balls for Dax and he loved them.

As we were sitting there i heared someone one the baby grand playing Bella's Lulliby (for those twilight fans) and it was great. After we were done with the lights we went to Opry mills mall and walked around. We used a stroller at the mall and it had a stering wheel in it and Dax was all about that. It was a very nice way to end a day of cleaning and shots and laundry. On that note Dax got his second shot for the flu today and he didn't cry didn't flinsh he was a trooper.

CRAZY!!!

Ok so there was this story i read on yahoo....About this family who just had their 18th child. All i can say to that is WOW! I don't know how they do it but if that's whats in store for them then great. i believe God gives each of us different events/trials/test/experiences to fit who we are and what we can handle. I am learning to deal with a husband, baby, full time job, and soon to be full time student. Here are some pictures of the family's living style and the link to The Duggar Family

Santa

So Dax got to see Santa at our church party (last weekend) and he did really well wasn't scared or anything just kinda stared at him.

Cans

While i was out on leave i started to save the tops of the soda cans for the hot topic can top drive. Well they ended up not doing so when i get closer to finished i will post what i've been makeing out of them. But when i came back me and my friend started to save the whole can. Its been 4 months now and today was the day we took them in. They were taking up every extra ounce of space i had and they were taking over Heather's house.

Its 57 out side and raining. We got all the cans and drove over to PSC metals. We dumped all our cans in the bin and weighed them. 65 pounds. We did the math and that was 2,080 cans total. When we started it was .76 cents a pound but it has droped down to .50 cents a pound. But we still got $32.50 for all our cans.

Most of all those cans came from our work here at the Tennessee lottery. With meetings and parties and just keeping a trash can in the lunch room. We are going to keep this up with hopes of the rate going up to get a little extra cash!

*** Pictures to come soon*****

Thanks-Giving

So this year for Thanksgiving we went to Billy's mom's house at lunch time. Then went to my parents house for dinner. It's funny to see all the different dishes that can be made. We did all this with a sick baby (Dax had croup) and with me not feeling up to par. It was nice to get to my dads house and relax for a time. One thing that me and the baby did while Billy slept was we watched the parade. Dax really like it.

But I've been thinking alot lately that i have alot to be thankfully for this season. I have a wonderful husband, and now Dax is here and he's the greatest little guy, i have an apartment of my own, food in the kitchen, and lots of love. Im so grateful for the things i have. Mostly the ones you can't see or buy. I love my little family and can't wait for the next time the families get together.

Now I did go out on Black Friday but i didn't mean to i went to Joann's to get more Christmas gift fabric. I will be posting closer to Christmas the gifts i have made they are very cute!
