Tomorrow is a big day!

Tomorrow at 11am I have an interview!!! I'm so excited. I have been with the Tennessee Education Lottery for 2 years now. I am the corporate service specialist (or a fancy name for receptionist) Well my friend Luann moved to New York and her position just became available. I really didn't think I would get an interview but here it goes. I'm not getting my hopes up cause I'll still have my job, but I really want this for me and my family. Mostly me cause that means I would be having more work to do :) Retailer Installation Coordinator...

4 years today!

Today is our 4 year wedding anniversary. Four years today we came together at the Nashville temple and was married for time and all eternity. I will forever be his as he will forever be mine. What fun we've had in the past 4 years: trips, concerts, a baby, school! It's been a journey.

This is my little man this weekend. He wasn't him self this weekend. I stayed home with him on Monday. He has two pink eyes... it's soo sad.

OK so I wanted a change without cutting my hair. It's in this awkward stage right now. It either needs to be cut short or left alone in a pony tail until it gets longer. So I put in highlights with the help of my sister. The pictures don't do Justice it looks so much better in person. It's way more blond than red/brown now...

Also an update on the weight loss challenge! It's over finally. Well I started back in January at 150 pounds. I was big for me. A few months later after finial weigh in I can in at 137! I was so happy seeing that my goal was my pre prego weight (135) but that wasn't enough I lost 13 pound that was 9% of my total body weight. The winner won with 13% we were so happy for her. She took home $410. So now I'm going to yoga and kick boxing at work during lunch to lose that extra 7 pounds.

So I made rice crispy treats for work last week and at the bottom of the box I found this!

It has been forever since I've found a toy in my cereal box. I'm not sure what it is but Dax likes it. Something to do with Star Trek.

So if we go back to THIS POST....you will see that I am making something out of plastic bags. Well that project is taking forever!!!!! But I plan on finishing that before I start Dax's new quilt. This I made out of them this weekend. What do you think?

This is made from 6 target bags. I fused three of them together on each side then sewed them up. This was just a test run to see how this would work so it's not the best but I have gotten so many compliments on it already. Lets just say the next sewing project is going to be an ironing board cover! There are target symbols all over my ironing board!..... But it's so thick and durable. I need to get some of those cute forever 21 bags now...

When it finally comes....

Doesn't this room make you happy? I can't wait till it's time for us to get a house. There's so many things I want to do. Put hard wood floors in the whole house, change out all door knobs and knobs on cupbords, paint every room, have a food garden in back and a flower garden in front, i have so many ideas!

Im currently working on some really cute wall art for the living room. I will also be using this wall art for some pillows im going to make. I will be posting those art projects soon.

Father's Day coming soon!

Ok so Father's day is coming soon. We'll last year was Billy's first fathers day I can't remember for the life of me what I got him. Mostly because I still wasn't driving a whole lot seeing that Dax was only a month old. So this year i have to do something good.
I was going to do this for his birthday but instead got a bunch of little things. He's wanted a Vestal watch. SO I gave my best offer and I got him this one.

Well the new AP magazine came in yesterday and he was all over these baby's. Guitar hero cuff links.

And I found them on ebay for best offer so my next check I might try for them. See Fathers day is June 21st. Our 4 year anniversary is June 25th so I might get these for him for our anniversary.

When we got married that was my gift to him was a pair of pink cuff links. So that would be kind of cool.

I can't wait till November !!

Not only will Dax be in nursery but New moon comes out!
